You might have blown the 4WD fuse. Are you getting any idiot lights (namely the 4WD light)?

It could be a fuse, it could also be the switch... these switches are notorius for going bad. Do the buttons light up when you start the vehicle and is there any lights at all once it's running? If it lights up when you start the vehicle, then the fuse should be ok.... i have a switch in my tool box that is good but a corner of it is chipped.... P/N is 15708958

well, c, the 2hi lights up, and stays lit, and when i switch to auto4, or 4hi or lo, it flashes for bout 30 sec, and than it goes back to 2wd, so i mean i guess it isnt the fuse than, but yea, it just sucks since its been snowin a lot lately, lol

when i have time later tonight, i'll see if i can get the diagnostics from GM as well as the wiring diagram
