Did you check the trans fluid? Is the transfer case in neutral? Does it make noise?

I won't be at my shop until tomorrow morning, I'll follow this and if you don't have an answer before then I'll be able to help a lot more

I forgot about the holiday happy Labor Day. Two things common on your truck the rest need a scanner first check the fuses marked trans or 4/4, next look for a large plug in on top of the shifter it may be unplugged or dirty inside, look for green stuff in the connector, the dash control is also suspect but you'll need a scanner from here on out unless someone else has a better idea, hope this helps
