Symptom described occurrs in initial 5-10 minutes of operation in cold weather, at inititial stops at street crossings

Engines use 2 different loops in the computer. 1 when cold and 2nd one when it warms up. Check temperature sensor, it may be bad and engine thinks it's already at operating temperature when it's still cold.therefore goes into closed loop.
