Both the wiper arms popped off my Dodge Ram

Both my wiper arms popped off about a week apart, and now they won't stay
on. There seems to be an excessive amount of play, like there something
missing. I noticed that the plate holding the locking level wiggles. I tried to
tighten the press fit posts but it didn't make any difference. HELP
