2006 Durango 4.7 work in 2002 ram?

Will the 2006 Durango 4.7 engine fit in my 2002
ram?

It may but may have oil pan problems. Best way to verify is to call a Auto Parts recycler and have him look it up in his parts interchange book. Good Luck

Some 02 4.7 has 16 teeth on the cam and crankshaft pulleys. 03 and up has 32. If it does. It wont run unless you change both pulleys. Easiest way to check is count the plugs on both vehicle computers. If the 02 has 4 you're in business. If it has 3 you'll have to change the pulleys
