Asked by Bigkidd Jan 14, 2018 at 12:19 AM about the 2001 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 LS 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Would a 2005 chevy pickup 2500 w/a 6.0 engine fit into a
2001 chevy suburban 2500 w/a 6.0 engine?

1 Answer

Those engines will have different smog control systems and engine management but with enough work it should be possible to do the swap if you have the entire engine and engine management system.
