The a/c on my 2000 dodge ram 1500 is just blowing warm to cool air. Even when i add refridg. to it, then it acts like it has lost the refridg, but i cannot find any leaks. Where could the freeon be going if i find no leaks?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I can find no sign of a freeon leak, anywhere, but i keep losing it, to the point
that the generator stops engaging. Plus, all i get is warm to cool air, even after
re-charging.I have changed the accumulator but there's no change. What is
happening?

I have the same problem. Turned out it’s the evaporator core, that has a leak. It is located inside of the blower assembly—beging your dash. You literally have to remove the dash, in order to get to it.
