truck will turn over but wont start

Asked by James Oct 26, 2014 at 05:44 PM about the 1998 Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie SLT Club Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

changed the roter cap, its getting spark, its getting fuel, it has compression but it will
NOT start any ideas???

is it getting enough spark? just because it will turn over doesn't necessarily mean the battery is actually strong enough to start it. could also be the computer--that's what happened when my computer started messing up intermittently in my 95 Dakota.

I have a 1995 Dodge ram 1500 ..there is a second sensor behind the passenger side head ..it's head on by 2 hex heads bolts ... If this sensor goes bad your truck will not start ..ck this before spending alot of money on parts n time chasing wires u don't need to ...ok
