I have a 1998 Dodge ram 1500 just rebuilt the transmission and put it back in the truck. now the truck will turn over but will not start.

i replaced the cam shaft postion senor that did not work.. i am not getting spark but i am getting fuel and compression. i tested the battery it is still good..you can still hear the fuel pump kick on..the pluges are good the coil is good and so is the distribtuor n cap n rotor....the guy that i had look at it thinks it is the computer..i dont think so cause it only sat for bout a month n a half i aint getting no check engine light..an the ASD relay is good....i am completely lost and have no idea what it could be!!

Replace the speed sensor on the back of the engine I went through the same thing last year
