I have a 97 dodge 1500 clean truck but
transmission is bad I just bought a 99 2500
for 400 bucks top of the motor burnt up so
wires are all melted what I want to know is
will the transmission and axels from the
2500 work on the 97 1500

I have a 97 dodge 1500 clean truck but transmission is bad but I just bought a 99 dodge 2500 for 400 bucks the top of the motor on the 2500 burnt so the wires are all melted but transmission is good I want to put the transmission and axels. Under the 97 1500 will it work or are the wiring harness different
