I have a 96 dodge ram 1500 and the truck start shaking around 45 mph. What can cause this?

Most common cause would be an out of balance wheel/tire. Consider the mileage that is on the current set of tires that are installed on the vehicle. But I would recommend getting them re-balanced. Other possibilities causing the vehicle to shake at speed could include worn out steering and or suspension parts.
