cranks, does not start

Asked by paidrow Nov 10, 2016 at 11:08 AM about the 1995 Dodge RAM 1500 LT LB 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Was very low on fuel. Drove home, all was fine. No
signs or symtoms of pending problems. Next
morning cranked, but did not start. No fuel
pressure at pressure rail. But, not sure if there
should be pressure when engine off.

Did you fill up your car? If not your are probably out of gas. Running a car out of gas can ruin the fuel pump as they are cooled by the gasoline in the tank.
