The heat won't blow in my 2001 chevy malibu, what should I check 1st?

Is the fan not blowing or do you not have any heat? Two different items here. If the fan is not working, see this posting: http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/Discussion-t40965_ds639843? actionMessages=Your+answer+has+been+posted. If the fan is running but you do not have heat, then you may need to check the radiator, or radiator overflow, to ensure it has fluid, or check the thermostat.
