will the engine for a 2001 chevy malibu fit in a 2003 chevy malibu?

I just found out that my head gasket is blown in the 2003 Chevy Malibu.  I have the lead on a 2001 Chevy Malibu w/ 78K miles.  Will it fit?

best thing to do is take it to a shop with a nice warranty on parts since those motors blow a head gasket about every 6 months.
