I have this issue and I'm nearly positive it is the pivot fork wearing down. It is a known problem with the cars and I plan to replace it when I do my clutch. It was getting extremely difficult to shift into 1st at one point that I adjusted the clutch pedal to give me more play until I get the work done. But like A.J. says more info needed here.

Mines the same way man i got a new clutch lighter flywheel and pivot fork and the shifting was diffrent but the tightness was still there. i do believe its tight because it makes for faster shifting.

If you are running a short throw shifter, it may be that the throw could be so short it makes the shifting stiffer. It could also be the bushings on your shifter linkage or the clutch pivot fork as mentioned above. I've had all of these problems at different times and they all make the shifting stiff without preventing the car from going into gear
