clutch pivot fork and there is a ball joint in there that needs to be replaced and it will shift into 3rd like a charm this usually happens to srt4's at around 80000 miles

I have a 2004 SRT4 with 128,000 miles on it. It runs great until you get to third gear. after that it will not shift. first, second, fourth, and fifth gear work. I am wondering if mine is the same issue. I'm going to have it looked at but based on this most people on here know more than a basic mechanic shop will.

could be the shift selector, i believe modernperformance still sells the billet shift selector, better quality than the stock one
