4 wheel drive problem

Can i remove the the 10amp fuse to disable the 4 wheel drive on my 2001
chevy blazer 4.3 L/S 4 door?. Will this let me drive in 2 wheel drive only and be
ok to drive like this all the time?

Yes you can. With vehicle on Place switch in 2 wheel drive. Turn off vehicle. Remove fuse. Disconnect battery. Wait 10 min. Reconnect battery. Start car. Let run in place for 10 min. Turn off. Restart and drive. It will default to rear wheel drive.
