upgrading

i can get a stage 2 chip for my 2001 chevy s10 v6 vortech 4.3l. im not sure
were it plugs into? can anyone help me?

The ECM has the factory chip inside. Find the ECM (I don't know where it is, not sure you should be screwing with it if you don't) open the ECM and change the chip.
