Trailer tail light problem with 2000 Chev S-10 with automatic headlights

Asked by GuruXZ6NX Oct 04, 2018 at 06:49 PM about the 2000 Chevrolet S-10 Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Trailer lights work fine in day light, but when it gets dark, and headlights come on, the trailer tail lights go out.  Brake and turn signals work fine, but I lose the tail lights.  Any help?

I need to be out of town for four days, and will be unable to answer any questions. I do hope there will be a response that is helpful.
