Can air in the cooling system cause heater hose to pop off?

Recently changed my thermostat
and pressure line for the power
steering pump and had to
disconnect a coolant hose and
lost a   decent amount  of coolant.
Snd didnt burp or bleed it or
anything. I'm sure there is air in the
lines could something like air in
the system cause heater hoses to
blow. Has poped off once while
ideling then a few while times
driving. Anny advice  is greatly
appreciated

Replace any bad coolant hoses, make sure the connections are tight. And yes, the cooling system need to be purged from air, and can build up an undesirable amount of pressure in the cooling system. Here is how to purge the cooling system.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUpXgAJ1gjU
