Please, I would like to know where is located the VATS module in a 1999 Camaro. I have problem with the PASS II Key system. I changed the cylinder lock and the key, but the car starts not always.

I have problems wuth the PASS II Key System.  I changed the ignition switch cylinder and bought a new key.  I still have the same problem.  The car only start in some ocassions.  If I leave the key in the cylinder some minutes after the Security light turn off, then the car start.  Please, can anybody help me.  Thanks.  jepares@yahoo.com

Cycle key on and off 3 times. On the third time leave in "on" position for at least 30min. Turn off and repeat once more. Should reprogram module. If this doesnt work, let me know. You can bypass all together if you still have the factory key it came with.

the module is on the firewall under the dash towards the center.
