codes 133,171,172,195.300,420 2195 come up

1 Answer

30,210

that is a lot of codes. many of them point to a lean condition. check for vac/intake leaks, bad pcv dirty maf. codes 171 and 172 are opposite codes, rich and lean. I had this happen once and it was a bad pcv. there could also be a fuel problem. have the fuel pressure tested, and test the injectors. when was the last time the car had a tune up? There could even be exhaust leaks or a bad cat.. 195 is an oil temp sensor. if the car isn't running, then the oil isn't hot so that could be the sensor itself or wiring to it. I would start by checking for vac or intake leaks. then I would check the fuel system next. the fuel pressure tests can tell you a lot. Lot of codes here, but lean condition is a common denominator. Check everything associated with that
