is a low noise (roar) in the front hubs when put in 4 wheel normal

I'm looking to buy a 2002 chev trail blazer LT, I have notice when i put in 4x4 high and low that i hear a slight rumbal or roar from the front hubs and not in 2x4 mode not sure it's a cv joint or not

you are going to get some noise in 4x4 the front axle is now turning i think you should take it to a mechanic and pay to have them look at it before you buy it. i would think you could get them to look at it for less than$100 a good investment
