Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have changed so many parts on my 2002 chevy
trailblazer. Throttle body, plenty sensors, crank
shaft, cam, ect...fuel filter, had a hard time starting
it after that, it smelled like something was
burning... and after a mile or 2 it stops
accelerating, just shuts off. Ive put so much money
into this truck to give up. Please help.

Checked with my husband on that... It has a new exaust system. Someone donated the truck to us who knows a little about cars. I work at a mechanic shop. My boss cant figure it out.
