Would the transmission out of a f150 ,or expedition ,navigator ,etc fit in a 99 f250 super duty 5.4l 4x4 ,if not whats the difference?

I have a 99 f250 super duty 4x4 5.4l ,it has a 4r100 transmission that went bad ,I have
been looking for a used replacement transmission and everyone tells me something
different about the lighter truck transmissions.
