oil pressure

I was driving my pick up 55 mph when all of a sudden the oil pressure dropped
to 0 and the truck died.  what could be the problem?

If oil pressure drops engine will cut off, by design. Check what caused oil pressure to drop like that, could just be a clogged sending unit. Change oil, filter, maybe remove sending unit, clean and test sensor. If oil looks really bad degunking engine may be in order.
