Call the AAA, they have this great battery service, will come to you and check out your charging system at no charge. They'll even sell you a new battery and install it , it's a great battery, with a super warranty, I've used them and are very pleased. If you don't have AAA, you should especially with an older car.
My 2014 Malibu failed the state inspection. The oxygen and evap is saying not ready.
