Had new fuel pump put on by an individual I know. I've got a 2002 Chevrolet Malibu

Asked by Sherry Dec 17, 2014 at 09:30 PM about the 2002 Chevrolet Malibu LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After paying and getting my car back I
drove it to store... less than 5 miles. It
stopped running while I was driving. I called
the person who put in fuel pump he came
and worked on it. Said it was a blown fuse.
He fixed it and I drove home. Went to store
next day something. The fuel pump fuse
keeps blowing, what could it new besides a
wire bare touching medal to blow fuse?

Have him check the fuel relay, all so recheck his work,as you said there may be a wire bad,or in the wrong place.
