2004 F-150 Auto transmission OD
My tranny will not shift out of 2nd gear unless I hit the OD off button. can this be a sensor issue or something? shifts fine 1st 2nd and 3rd with OD off engaged.

My 2002 Ford Ranger had a similar problem. It was a plastic valve in the transmission that had broke. You could access from the oil pan,I took mine to the ford dealer had it replaced with a metal valve. about 300 bucks
