Changing spark plugs 2004 Ford F 150

Asked by binunda Dec 30, 2019 at 01:40 PM about the 2004 Ford F-150 FX4 Ext. Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Any advice on how to go about changing the spark plugs on a 2004 F150?  I've heard all the horror stories, and hope to not make the mistakes I keep hearing about.  Thanks everyone.

Soak the plugs with penetrating oil overnight and remove the plugs cold. Before you start buy the broken plug removal tool as you are pretty much guaranteed to need it.
