Ford truck hoods normally shut when dropped from a good height. If you bent something, use a light and line the latch to the striker. observe when they are close to the first click. Sometimes the latch height can be raised if that is keeping it from the second click. You can lower the pegs out by the fenders while correcting to relieve tension. Then as a last step raise them some.
