Car wont start

I put on a new starter (which I didnt need), the alternator was bad so i replaced that and the battery is good but car wont start.

was the battery load tested? check all battery cables /ground to engine/frame for a start...

    I have a 2002 Chevy malibu 3.1. It runs fine, even at idle. But if I shut off the engine and try to start it again, it wont start unless I give it gas. Once it starts, again, it runs fine.
