Headlights 2004 F150

Asked by BRENTCHRISMAN17 Aug 06, 2018 at 09:01 AM about the 2004 Ford F-150 FX4 SuperCrew 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The headlights in my 2004 F150 will not
turn off. I have to disconnect the battery to
do so. I have pulled out fuses 26, 28, & 29
and reinstalled them in an attempt to reset
the system however, no such luck. Any
suggestions?

I checked that and after pulling the fuses I also disconnected the battery for a few minutes and then reconnected it. So far, I believe the combination of removing and reinstalling the fuses as well as disconnecting the battery may have reset the system. My lights are operating normally and everything is back. Thank you for contribution and I hope this experience helps others.
