Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 f150 5.4 3 valve lariat 4x4. I am pulling the
tranny out to replace it I have done it a couple of times in
the past but not on anything this new. I am having trouble
getting the flywheel nuts off. I am using a 1/4 ratchet with a
6 point 14 mm socket.  It keeps trying to strip the nuts. Is
there a special tool for this?

Your socket sounds worn at the mouth. I personally like using the 12 point box end of a wrench for as much as possible, they tend to bite pretty well and you can extend it with another wrench for leverage
