No crank no start on 2003 ford f150

Asked by Ezarhra Jun 01, 2023 at 11:23 AM about the 2003 Ford F-150 Lariat Crew Cab 4WD SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just replaced my dashboard due to the gear
indicator not working. But no crank no start
when turning the key. All lights come on. I tried
arching a screwdriver to the solenoid and it will
crank but not start and it used to start that way.
Would this indicate a bad solenoid?

Check the security system, you make have accidentally turn it on so it disabled the start circuit. If that is turn off the recheck your work, you have left something unplugged.
