As a rule the truck runs fine .On 2 occasions it has failed to start.It cranks,but
wiil not start.It has been suggested that it may be vapor lock.I,ve never had this

Vapor lock usually only occurs on hot days to vehicles that are themselves hot. Also, fuel injected cars are (i think) largely immune to this thanks to constant system pressure. Since it is a 2002 with many complex mechanical and electronic systems, it would be impossible to tell what's going on without more information- I suggest you take it to a garage and have a mechanic do a run through.
