i have a 92 ford F-150 iam having trouble with the back tank ok it leaked so i had it replaced recently along with side tank but the problem is the the side works fine but the back will work for about i say 20 min then it acts like it starvin for gas shakes the truck then dies but if u catch it b4 it dies like switch to side tank it will comm out of it think it may b just a fuel filter it looks a little wet like getting too much gas iam at a loss suggestions?

got two new tanks on it side works fine but when i switch to back it takes about twenty minutes then truck shakes acts like not getting gas but if u catch it before it dies and switch to side tank it comes out of it looked under hoodlookes little wet but not real bad do u think it may be the fuel filter in btween the side tank and back tank or something else?

I am having that same problem with my 89f150 fi l found my pump is week but I still have not replaced switch I would try testing switch or it is inexpensive enough to replace anyway I've gone through my lines all clear replaced regulator and still nothing side tank pump and a new tank for fun lol I've replaced high pressure fuel pump in frame @ FRONT AXEL NOT NEC YET also I tested pump seemed very weak replaced filter after hpfp def pump in tank replace switch too it is worth it
