My f150 want start. Put new starter on. Dashlights turn on but nothing not even a click.what can it be??

Does your truck have a solenoid on the fender well if it does that is what controls the starter on older ford truck. You might want to try jumping the solenoid first with 2 screw drivers. your jumping the power from one side to the other,( they are large posts on either side)
