F150 2002 5.4 liter

My  f150 started running like it was running
out of gas but I had plenty of fuel in the tank
I changed the filter and it is still running
poorly did it jump timing or or is it just
missing it also is back firing

Check visible hoses for a potential vacuum leak? I’d put a test light to the pump itself if no bad hoses, just bc you hear the pump come on doesn’t necessarily mean it’s pumping the amount of fuel you need
