F150 drive train 2002

Asked by GuruT7QWR Jul 23, 2018 at 06:49 PM about the 2002 Ford F-150 XL SuperCab LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2002 F150, 340000 miles, 110 degree day.  No
hesitation, noise or warning lights.  Engine
continues to run, no miss, tach revs up
as if transmission is slipping but there is no noise.
Truck stops moving forward, coast to side of road,
cool down for 5 minutes, will go another 2-3
miles and then stops again.  Engine running without
problem.  Both transmission fluid and differential
fluid full and clean.  Ideas?
