I have a F150, 2002 King Ranch,

I have an F150, 2002 King Ranch, the 4 wheel drive light comes on but the 4 wheel drive will not engage, fuses look OK, what's causing this?

you may haft to back up about 10 or 15 foot to get it to lock in 4x4

Try going back and forth a little and see if it engages. If it still won't engage the servo motor on the transfer case may be bad.

another thing it could be is what is called the GEM module on the backside of the interior fuse box. I have ran into that also w/the servo. The bone I had problem with servo burned up and shorted the GEM module
