You need a numbers matching transmission for tire plug and play. Your best bet is to have the stock one rebuilt.

When you're dealing with vehicles that are that old, even if you found a matching used transmission, it likely won't be any better than the one you have. So do have yours rebuilt.

No, the sensors are different. Even the engines are different even though they are both 5.4, the 2002 has 2 valves per piston vs the 2008 has 3 valves per piston.
