I have a 2000 f150 2wd 4.2 litre and it won't start. I've checked all the fuses, fuel pump and found the ignition coil pack was not putting out so I replaced it. Still not cranking. It will turn over

The basics - check for spark and fuel. This will narrow down the problem. After that maybe replace spark plugs, wires, fuel filter and air filter.

Check the primary and secondary resistance on the new coil pack with a multi-meter and make sure it is within specs for your year, make, and model. Then check the resistance of each spark plug wire. If memory serves they should check out at 5K ohms per foot. I've found Fords to be finicky when it comes to coil packs and plug wires
