Ford F150 with 5.4 engine,

Installed a new batttery and engine starts right up but when accellarating the
engine diesat 1500 rpm. Accellerate past 1500 all is fine but when reducing rpm
it dies again at 1500 rpm. No check engine lights. allis norman accept it dies at
1500 rph.

You need to put a meter on it make sure it's not a sensor. If no codes come up I would guess a fuel problem. Wish I could help more.
