what's the best way to determine if the destributor isn't firing on a 1995 ford f-150

You can do it the old school way by sticking a Phillips screw driver into spark plug wire end that goes onto spark plug and hold it about 3/8 to 1/2 inch from any metal on vehicle like the valve cover and have someone crank over engine and look for a spark between the screw driver and ground or you can buy a spark plug tester that plugs between the spark plug wire and spark plug and it lights up when engine is cranked if there is spark.
