why wont it start when warm unless you hit the gas a little bit but when cold it starts up just fine

If no check engine light, I would change out the Engine Coolant Temp sensor, clean the Mass Air Flow sensor, and change the Air Intake sensor sometimes called charge sensor. Post back with results.
