Ford has never had a replaceable "chip". You must use a programmer and to do things correctly you may need a dyno tune. Sometimes some research before modding helps. Best of luck with it.

The old Ford EECIV intel 8061 processor computer can run different "chips"- or tunes various company's offer there version for Ford ECCIV The engine management is easy too 5.0s are well documented. I'M sure you know with such a CAMMED and 1.7 rockered engine you will need a Real tune no Tweecer! be sure and match the calibration of the MAF to the HUGE 34lbs injectors too. Regards
