Cut it off and weld in a piece of exhaust pipe in it place. Easy to do although illegal in almost every state. Plus you truck being EFI does need that back pressure for the O2 sensor to read properly. Why not just put on a high flow cat?

take the cats off and weld in pipe or bolt on and where the holes were for the 02 sensors go to the parts store and by 02 sensor spacers to fool your system easy
