1993 f150 wont shift into any gear

I have a 1993 f150 with a m5r2 transmission and it made a
loud clunk when I shifted out of reverse and then it
wouldn't shift into any of its gears. I checked the shifter
nub and it was fine. Also won't shift even when the truck
is off. Any suggestions what's wrong with the
transmission? Maybe shift forks?
