will a 302 5.0 go into a 1992 f-150

i found a rebuilt 302 5.0 short block and i want to know if i can put it in my
1992 F-150 with 5 speed manual transmission

Yes. The Bell-housing is same, no problem with bolt pattern. The Ford 5.0 is a sweet engine. Good choice. If you have the money and so desire - get a Coyote 5.0. More expensive and usually used in Mustangs, and has a bit lower low-end torque than a truck engine.

If you have the 4.9 straight-six now, you will have to change flywheel and motor mounts. But the frame is the same to accept the change
